Our purpose in athletics is to honor God in all that we do by showing godly character. Athletics are not our value. Our value comes from being made in the image of God (Imago Dei, Gen. 1:26-27).
Our identity can never be in athletics, our identity is in Christ alone (Ephesians 1:13).
This gives us freedom to grow & learn through sports participation.
Our commitment to God's word through Bible Study and Devotions makes living this out on the field and court possible (Psalm 119:105).
